As Evan strolled through the heart of Denver, his thoughts drifted to the pleasures of a satisfying meal and a warm shower. He was homeless, intentionally demonstrating to both society and himself that he would choose his own path in life.
However, lacking material possessions didn’t diminish his appreciation for money. At that moment, he thought having some cash would be quite nice. And deep down, he felt he had a special spark.
While he walked with visions of abundance, he spotted something nestled in the bushes beside the sidewalk. He reached inside and retrieved a brown leather wallet. Although it lacked any identification, it held an astonishing $1000 in cash.
That’s the essence of Zen creativity. Simple. Natural. Effortless.
There’s a distinct reason Evan could manifest so easily. This isn’t coincidence—it’s the law of attraction at work, delivering results that often feel magical.
Many still view the law of attraction as something that happens “occasionally.” However, it is as constant as the law of gravity. Gravity doesn’t operate “sometimes”—you won’t find yourself floating to the ceiling at random. A law is a law.
So why do some seem so Zen in manifesting their desires, while others struggle to bring their dreams to life, often without success?
The difference lies in what Zen creators understand. There are methods to create effortlessly and elegantly.
Do you wish to become a Zen creator? Follow these ten tips to help your aspirations flourish:
1. Find clarity
The universe doesn’t engage with uncertainty. Vague ambitions yield vague outcomes. Who desires that?
While you might not have complete clarity on every aspect of your life, you certainly know what matters most—how you wish to feel. It’s these emotions that drive actual creation. Gain clarity around your feelings, and prepare for your dreams to manifest.
2. Take it lightly
The laughing Buddha wasn’t chosen as a symbol of Zen by chance. When you burden your dreams by taking aspects like finances, relationships, and health too seriously, you stifle the potential for magic.
Creating your reality should be an enjoyable and exhilarating endeavor. There’s no such thing as failure; each misstep is just feedback, helping you refine your skills.
Laugh throughout the journey and remember that nothing is permanent. You have endless opportunities to realize your desires, and anything you can envision is achievable.
3. Set your standards high
This is your journey, and you are the architect of your life. When you send a request to the universe, make it count. There’s no “meant to be” or “not meant to be.” You hold the reins—create with strong intent.
4. Stop monitoring
When you plant a seed, you don’t keep uprooting it to see if it’s growing. Sure, you tend to it with water and care, but you don’t hover over it, anxiously waiting for it to sprout. Allow it space to grow.
The same applies to your creations. Channel energy into your dreams, perhaps shift some beliefs, and then release it.
Occasionally check for signs that things are evolving, but avoid obsessing, and don’t tie your contentment to whether or not your desires materialize.
5. Avoid feeding your ego
Indeed, you have immense power to manifest anything you wish for. But that doesn’t elevate you above anyone else. The moment you start believing you’re exceptional, you prime yourself for disappointment.
Why? Because true Zen power is subtle. The attitude of boasting and superiority hides fears of inadequacy—often termed self-sabotage.
Embrace your abilities and recognize that everyone possesses the same potential, regardless of how they choose to wield it.
6. Manage your thoughts
Thoughts shape our realities since feelings are intertwined with thoughts (feelings fuel our creations). Positive thoughts generate uplifting feelings, fostering promising future outcomes.
Stay attuned to your thoughts and emotions. Understand that these energies have creative power, and consciously select the ideas and feelings that align with your goals.
7. Stay open to possibilities
Evan’s wish for a hearty meal and a warm shower could have come to fruition in various ways—a friend could have invited him for dinner and offered a place to sleep, or a shelter worker might have guided him toward resources.
Dreams can take many forms if you release the need to control how they “should” unfold. Your responsibility is to envision, feel, and trust in your dreams. It’s up to the universe to align reality with your energy.
8. This or something better
At times, a splendid opportunity arises, and we quickly become anxious that it might not fully come to fruition. We may receive a call for a second interview, spot the ideal home on the market, or get asked out by someone intriguing—but what if it all crumbles?
This is where the mindset of “this or something better” becomes crucial. Perhaps that job, house, or individual is merely a sign, and there’s an even greater match on the horizon. Alternatively, the original opportunity could indeed live up to your expectations. Regardless, it’s you, not external factors, who is steering your journey. Breathe easy, and embrace the mantra—this or something better.
9. Anticipate it
Feeling excitement is great, but it’s not solely sufficient. Visualizing your aspirations isn’t enough either. You must genuinely anticipate that what you desire will absolutely become part of your reality.
But what if I can’t authentically expect it?
That’s a common challenge we all face with different dreams. It often occurs because you harbor beliefs in your subconscious that conflict with your aspirations.
The silver lining is that beliefs are changeable. Every proficient Zen creator explores their subconscious to uncover these limiting beliefs—because once identified, transforming them becomes a straightforward process.
10. Be receptive to miracles
Miracles occur when we receive more than what we requested from the universe—when our manifested reality exceeds our expectations. How does this unfold? It happens when unseen forces contribute their energy to ours.
Can we force miracles? Not really—it’s beyond our control. However, we can solicit assistance from these unseen allies and remain open to their gifts.
How?
By expressing gratitude for our unseen aids when circumstances surpass expectations. By consistently seeking their guidance. And by anticipating that even if our creation isn’t “perfect,” things will still go astonishingly well for us.
Unfortunately, it’s not simply about appearing Zen—calm, composed, and cool—to become a Zen creator. Ironically, it requires effort to create effortlessly. However, by embracing these principles and honing your practice—just as any Zen master does—you’ll be amazed by the outcomes.
Happy manifesting—and Namaste.
