Former Celtic player Chris Sutton has expressed his worries regarding the team’s slow transfer activity this summer. He emphasizes the necessity for the Scottish Champions to bolster their squad while they are riding high.
Currently, the only fresh face joining the team is Kieran Tierney, who has made a return from Arsenal with a five-year contract after finalizing a pre-contract agreement in February.
In promising news, Celtic is reportedly in discussions with FC Nordsjaelland regarding winger Benjamin Nygren. The two clubs are believed to be negotiating a transfer fee for the player.

Additionally, Celtic is reportedly pursuing Albirex Niigata center-back Hayato Inamura, with sources suggesting the 23-year-old is eager to relocate to Glasgow.

“I believe more signings are certainly in the works, and it’s advantageous to reinforce the squad early on. Early acquisitions allow players to acclimatize, especially with upcoming Champions League qualifiers that significantly impact both Rangers and Celtic’s financial standings.”
