Awakening in Winter: Lessons from Meeting Premanandji Maharaj for Personal Growth and Wellness

Moving forward, our trio (dad, my sister, and I) arrived at the ‘Keli Kunj ashram’ at approximately 4:45 AM the following morning. My sister and I were guided into a basement filled with fellow attendees. The live broadcast of Premanandji Maharaj’s satsang filled the air, his voice echoing throughout the room. Meanwhile, his karya-sevaks managed the crowd, engaging in ‘naam jap’ with a counting device.

The ambiance radiated with spiritual energy, as if the divine had graced us with its presence. I often embrace this sensation to ensure it remains etched in my memory.

After roughly 20 minutes, our names were announced, and we were distributed into various groups. I was escorted up to a terrace where I was briefed on essential do’s and don’ts. Subsequently, we formed a line and made our way to the room designated for Ekantik.

Upon entering the room, there he was, his head bowed in contemplation. It felt monumental, akin to witnessing divinity itself. The scene was reminiscent of a sacred tale, with a sage seated beneath a tree surrounded by devoted followers. I viewed him and conveyed my respect in my heart, expressing gratitude to ‘Radha Rani’ for this extraordinary moment.

The Q&A session commenced, and to my astonishment, I heard my name, “Deepti Kaushik, from Punjab.” My heart skipped a beat. I stammered, Row, and the camera focused on me. Centering myself, I quietly repeated Radha Radha.

(This is me on this blessed day.)

Maharaj ji inquired whose question it was, noticed me, and proceeded to answer my query. I was beyond excited. Then he asked, “Did you understand? Samajh paa rahe hai aap?” I nodded in acknowledgment. That signified my divine encounter.

The Q&A lasted about 10 minutes, featuring three additional questions. As I exited, I spotted my sister ready for the next group, and her question had also been selected.

Once we were done, the three of us headed to our hotel before departing for Gurgaon, our hearts overflowing with a gratitude that words couldn’t encapsulate, only tears could express.
