Matt Rife and Elton Castee: The Hilarious Duo Eyeing ‘The Conjuring’ House in Haunted Rhode Island – A Comedic Take on Real Estate!

Burrillville, R.I. (2025) – Comedian Matt Rife and popular YouTuber Elton Castee are once again pursuing the purchase of "The Conjuring" house in Rhode Island. This comes on the heels of their recent acquisition of the Connecticut residence belonging to renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Castee revealed that their interest in acquiring the iconic property is not new; they submitted a certified offer to the current owner, Jacqueline Nuñez, last month. "Seeing it in its current condition is disheartening, and we aspire to transform it into a site where visitors from around the globe can immerse themselves in its history," Castee shared in an interview with Nexstar’s WPRI.

Once a hotspot for paranormal enthusiasts, the Burrillville property was closed to the public after the town council declined to renew the owner’s entertainment license last year, halting tours and overnight stays.

Nuñez has yet to comment on the recent offer. "Owning this property with my friend is a dream come true," Rife expressed, highlighting his passion for the paranormal, cinema, and the historic significance of the property.

Castee reminisced about their shared experiences at the house, including a YouTube video shoot that took place roughly a year ago. It was at this location where Rife met Dan Rivera, the caretaker of the infamous Annabelle doll.

Tragically, after months of negotiating to purchase the Warrens’ Connecticut property, Rivera passed away unexpectedly in July. Castee noted that their time together at the house was brief, yet pivotal, given their aspiration to collaborate on the Warren estate.

Recently, Rife announced their successful acquisition of the Warren home and Occult Museum, where they plan to offer overnight experiences, complete with access to paranormal investigation equipment for guests. As the new legal guardians of the museum, which holds over 750 haunted artifacts including Annabelle, they aim to make the experience accessible to enthusiasts.

Rife commented on the significance of "The Conjuring" house, stating, "It’s a cornerstone of the paranormal realm, and we are committed to preserving its legacy while inviting all who wish to delve into its haunting history."
