Lexington, Kentucky – In a shocking incident that unfolded on the afternoon of Sunday, July 13, 2025, local authorities are investigating a shooting at Richmond Road Baptist Church, which has resulted in multiple injuries. The event occurred shortly before 11:40 a.m. ET, as reported by Kentucky State Police (KSP) via social media.

Preliminary findings indicate that the suspect initially confronted law enforcement, shooting at a state trooper before fleeing to the church, where other victims were discovered. Emergency medical teams swiftly arrived to assist those injured at the scene.
