As the clock strikes 10 pm, I’m nestled in bed flipping through a book by Shantanu Naidu titled, “I Came Upon a Lighthouse.” Do you recall the heartwarming story about the bond between a millennial and an octogenarian when Ratan Tata passed away? This narrative is centered around that connection. It highlights how Shantanu, a young automobile design engineer in his early twenties, and Ratan Tata discovered a shared compassion for stray dogs, and how their friendship blossomed.
This charming little book captures my heart with its authenticity and straightforwardness—qualities that I closely associate with Ratan Tata himself. I’m still only partway through, but I’m thoroughly enjoying the experience.
