Winter Wellness: Trusting the Universe—How to Recognize Your True Dreams

Dear Boni,

I’ve been astonished in various ways by how what I’ve aimed to manifest has actually materialized. At least, I think it has. And this leads me to my question.

How do you know when an opportunity presents itself that it’s the one you wished to create?

I’ve been employed at the same job for nine years. It’s been less than enjoyable, and I’ve had to focus on boosting my knowledge and self-esteem, as my supervisor often diminishes one’s worth with harsh and derogatory comments.

While I consider myself fortunate to have had a well-paying position for all this time, I’ve recently been offered a new, higher-paying role in an exciting atmosphere that both challenges and excites me.

So what’s the issue?

I feel it’s the right choice (even though part of me feels guilty about leaving a stable setting). I’ve taken risks in the past, and sometimes they’ve paid off, and other times, not so much.

On some level, I understand I brought this to fruition—and I genuinely feel thrilled about it. However, I fear making a wrong decision. I suppose I just want to ascertain if this is the right path?

I didn’t explicitly ask the Divine or my Higher Self or any of my unseen supporters for a specific occurrence. I didn’t even seek a new job opening. However, I did ask for assistance with financial prosperity. Yet, this opportunity isn’t what I would have anticipated—it’s something I hadn’t even considered.

How could I have produced this? How is it possible for such an improbable, unforeseen opportunity to arise so beautifully without it being a sign from God, my Soul, or someone beyond my reach?

Best,
Confused & Scared (yet excited too!)

Dear Excited,

I completely understand. I have pondered the same questions: Is this THE person? Is this THE job? Is this THE correct decision?

It can become overwhelming—all that questioning and doubting.

In your case, I believe there are several factors at play, and I’d like to discuss them one at a time. But first…

Congratulations on manifesting this opportunity!

Bringing about any opportunity deserves recognition—whether it’s a potential romantic connection, employment, home, concept, or really anything. Too many individuals quickly jump to: “But…will this be the one?” Resist that urge. Allow yourself the time to truly embrace this—you brought this into existence. You.

Take ownership. Acknowledge its reality. Applaud yourself. Celebrate. Show gratitude for it and for the assistance you received.

The only way to improve at conscious creation is by accepting what you do bring into being (both positive and negative). Don’t rush to determine “what will happen next.” Stay present long enough to genuinely acknowledge and “own” your creation.

And then remember…

You don’t need to request precisely “the thing” to manifest it

The nature of creation is such that you release the “energy” (the feelings tied to the area of life you seek to enhance), and the universe responds with the “things” that evoke those feelings. The key is, you can’t dictate its exact form.

Thus, genuinely asking for abundance and allowing the universe to determine how to provide that abundance (or whatever it is you desire) is the most effective way to create.

Another point to remember…

Your unseen supporters don’t shape your reality—you do

You mention, “How could such an unlikely, unexpected opportunity manifest so beautifully without a response from something Divine, my Soul, or someone beyond reach?”

You, dear creator, are a fragment of the Divine. You embody both God and Goddess. Your essence is inherently divine. Subsequently, you possess the power to craft your reality.

While our unseen supporters can offer guidance, we made the choice to experience life on a planet of “free will.” This means they won’t intervene—unless we invite them.

Nonetheless, there is always the chance for miracles. A miracle surpasses what you intended to create. They do occur and are gifts from our unseen allies.

You sought abundance, you manifested it, and perhaps your unseen friends aided the process. It’s always suitable to express appreciation for any help they provided. To paraphrase my friend Lazaris, “When you create something you don’t favor, take full accountability. When you create something you do appreciate, share the responsibility.”

Now, regarding your next inquiry:

Is this the “right” opportunity?

The success of this job hinges on one essential factor—you. You have forged this opportunity, Excited. You will also generate the outcomes of this opportunity.

It’s crucial to grasp this: You alone will steer the outcomes arising from this opportunity.

Whether the manifestation is a new role, a new partner, a new location, or new career, it won’t determine itself to be right, wrong, or mediocre—you will.

Maintain your energy, expectations, enthusiasm, and joy. And if you encounter obstacles, examine your beliefs to discern how you may have mis-created.

And one final thought…

Whether or not this endures is irrelevant

What? How can the duration not matter??? It absolutely does!

In truth, it doesn’t. What is important is that you manifest your desires.

You desire abundance. What if even greater abundance is prepared to emerge in your life, contingent on just a touch more self-worth for it to enter? If you take this job, it enhances your self-value, and at that point, you resonate at a higher frequency, making way for another (even more desirable) job offer.

When you detach from the outcome, you can start to relish the journey—regardless of how twisted it may appear—and trust that the essence of your intention will come to life.

I hope this is helpful, Excited!

With warmth,

PS. Our beliefs can obstruct us from achieving what we genuinely seek. When we perceive ourselves as “less than,” we will persist in manifesting that experience unless we shift our self-perception. Our Creating an Abundant Self Image Guided Meditation can assist you in altering your self-image to facilitate the effortless creation and retention of abundance. You are entitled to abundant living—believe in your right to unlimited prosperity.
